After Senator Vicente Sotto's daring Anti RH Bill Expose in The Philippine Senate.
He became the primary target of RH followers. And one of the stones that they are throwing against him, aside from plagiarism, is one of his early song recordings about Family Planning Program:
Si Misis nag pi-pills
Ngunit, subalit)
Kahit sya nag-pi-pills
Wala ring nangyayari
Pagkat si Mister
Pilit. Laging nagpupumilit
O Esmi, Ang anak mo ay anong dami
O Esmi, Magplano kayo ng family
Si Aling Tinay na mapagbigay
Lagi na syang nanganganay
Sa sampung taon
Ang anak ay panay
Nakabuo sya ng isang barangay
Raissa Robles, a renown blogger and investigative journalist posted this article
Sen. Sotto endorsed family planning two years after the death of his son.
- Arlen Kali Fuentes Twisted thought....the satire musical piece ridicules family planning program and has nothing to do whether the comedy trio are pro RH or not.
Arlen Kali Fuentes Did you post this because you saw the word '"family planning" without even considering time and circumstances and the real purpose of the song, which is just to make people laugh....endorsing?! Wow!
Noemi Montenegro Please read the whole articles before you make comments. Thanks .......
Arlen Kali Fuentes Not only I did read the article, I also listen to the song. Planning a family is not about condoms and other artificial unhealthy contraceptives that the pro RH are promoting. The comedic satire music is to shallow to consider touching an issue which is too vast and too deep.
Arlen Kali Fuentes Every sensible person as everyone of us are planning for our family, and both pro and anti RH are doing the same. But the difference is the way they plan and execute the plan.
Arlen Kali Fuentes ..the word used is 'plan your family', not use condom and iud, which would even sound more funny and hilarious.
Arlen Kali Fuentes Raissa Robles is a great investigative journalist but she is not a songwriter, and I wonder whether she could even sing.
Arlen Kali Fuentes touch me not
Touch me not, a precaution; I should have said: I am in flame, extremely mad, and ready to devour anyone who would stand in my path.
Everyday, I'd encountered and tolerated their ignorance and insanity, but this time it goes beyond my limit. I can be as demoniac as anyone, and I know that I have the cunning ability to expose anyone's folly from inside out. I can also play their game of insanity if that is what they want. I am glad no one touched me. I hate it when I hate; and when I hurt anyone, I end up hurting myself.
Touch me not could mean many things, and it includes not going beyond your limit or commenting on something which you don't truly understand. There was a time when music is my life and soul and they dared to include it in their twisted issues.
Bias clouds the mind, and there is nothing more frustrating than talking to a fool who thought that he is wise, awaken an awaken person pretending to be asleep, educate a wise man playing fool.
Noli Me Tangere (Touch Me Not), one of the two immortal novels by Philippines National Hero, Jose Rizal; is a title phrase beyond my comprehension. Until now, when I got so mad, when the issues at hand involve those things that are so close to my heart; like my country's people and future, my music, and my God.
